Making Magic at Taitua Arboretum, Hamilton - Childhood Photography
One of the things I love about childhood is how carefree a child's imagination can be. It's often overflowing with endless make-believe possibilities. They can be anything they want to be. How fab is that? To be able to play, explore, and learn with wild abandon. To be totally in the moment of being a pirate, a fairy, a fireman, an explorer, a ballerina or anything else they wish to be.
Like many their age, my girls love getting dressed up, particularly in magical dresses. So it was fun to take them to Taitua Arboretum in their tutu dresses one evening last week for a picnic and a play. With a couple of wands and some dandelions they had a magical time.
If you haven't been to Taitua Arboretum you totally should. It's a beautiful spot where families and children can walk, run, climb and explore together. It's a perfect place for family and childhood photographs. With beautiful pockets of light, big boulders, roman ruins, bamboo archways, pretty meadows and mossy tree branches, there's a spot or two to suit everyone's photography needs! You may also find a #TronRock or two with the kids while you are there!
